WSOP Adds Online Bracelet Events in Michigan
The segregated online poker market in the United States is confusing enough as it is. That makes the WSOP 2022 online poker bracelets complicated. Some online bracelet events will be accessible for players located in Nevada and New Jersey. Others will only be for players in Pennsylvania. And now new ones will only be available for players in Michigan.
Let’s try to simplify it.
US Markets for WSOP Online Poker
The US market is currently set up as follows:
-Nevada and New Jersey offer online poker together, sharing player pools.
-Delaware uses the same 888-based platform and is party to the NV/NJ interstate agreement, but it cannot offer WSOP bracelet or ring events.
-Pennsylvania offers WSOP online poker, including ring and bracelet events, but not together with NV/NJ.
-Michigan offers WSOP online poker, including ring and bracelet events, but not together with NV/NJ.
It is true that Michigan recently made the choice to sign the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA) with Delaware, Nevada, and New Jersey. However, Michigan has not finalized the agreement. That means that the WSOP has not been able to link its site in Michigan with the others yet.
Pennsylvania has not signed anything.
This means that Michigan remains a separate entity, as does Pennsylvania.
So, Michigan and Pennsylvania will each host their own set of WSOP bracelet events for players located in those respective states. And players located in Nevada and New Jersey will be able to play together in another set of bracelet events.
How to Win a WSOP Bracelet Online
While each of the four states in which WSOP.com operates offers WSOP Circuit events online, this is the first time that all four will offer online bracelet events.
The Nevada/New Jersey schedule is the biggest of the three, as two states participate and the throngs of players in Nevada for the live WSOP can play as well. This 13-event schedule is:

Pennsylvania’s WSOP site did offer a selection of online bracelet series in 2021. This year, however, it has a more substantial player base. It will offer eight events for players only located in PA:

The WSOP only launched its site in Michigan in recent months, so this will be the first WSOP bracelet series for players there.
