WSOP Europe and WSOP Paradise Schedules and New App
The World Series of Poker has held the spotlight in poker media for months. Of course, there was the 2024 WSOP in Las Vegas, which is always the biggest series of the poker calendar year. Once Jonathan Tamayo won the largest-ever WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas for a cool $10M and the subsequent controversy died down, GGPoker parent company NSUS Group announced it was in the process of purchasing the WSOP for $500M. And then, GGPoker revealed its WSOP Online bracelet event schedule that starts soon and runs through September.
Meanwhile, as GGPoker and the WSOP hype the December WSOP Paradise series in the Bahamas, as well as the partnership with the Triton Poker Series to increase high roller participation, the WSOP Europe action got lost in the mix. While news around the European bracelet series has dropped off in past years, especially in the areas of promotions and satellites, the series does start in one month.
WSOP Europe 2024
The World Series of Poker never made an official announcement about the 2024 WSOP Europe. There is no news write-up on the main WSOP website, only a link to the schedule and the most basic of information: September 18 to October 9, King’s Resort in Rozvadov, and the schedule.
The only official news of the series came from King’s Casino itself in April. The attempt to garner excitement came with a schedule of 15 bracelet events and guarantees of more than €15M for the series.
With one month remaining before the series begins, there is still no hype from the WSOP or GGPoker, and there are no satellites listed on the GGPoker promotions page.
For the sake of record, this is the 2024 WSOPE schedule:
- Event 1 (Sep 18-23): €315 NLHE Opener (6 flights, €1M GTD)
- Event 2 (Sep 20-24): €550 PLO 8-Max (3 flights, €300K GTD)

- Event 9 (Oct 1-2): €1,100 NLHE Mystery Bounty (€300K GTD)
- Event 10 (Oct 2-3): €2K 8-Game Mix (€100K GTD)

There are no structure sheets attached to the WSOP schedule, but the King’s Casino website does provide structures and more detailed information, including a schedule of live satellites and side events.
WSOP Paradise 2024
There are certainly announcements and press releases for the second iteration of the WSOP Paradise series in the Bahamas. To compete with the World Poker Tour and its successful WPT World Championship at Wynn Las Vegas in December, GGPoker and the World Series of Poker spare no media space in promoting WSOP Paradise.

The full December WSOP lineup will offer 15 gold bracelets from December 6-19. For this series, in contrast to the WSOP Europe, the World Series of Poker and GGPoker are even assisting with hotel promotion, offering special resort rates, a complimentary food and drink lounge for all players, and special buy-in options via Luxon Pay through the WSOP+ app.
The schedule, as it stands per the WSOP website, is as follows:
- Event 1 (Dec 6-11): $2,500 NLHE WSOP Mini Main Event (2 flights, $5M GTD)
- Event 2 (Dec 7-9): $1M NLHE Triton Million
- Event 3 (Dec 8-9): $100K PLO Super High Roller
- Event 4 (Dec 8): $2,500 GGMasters Online Championship ($2.5M GTD)
- Event 5 (Dec 9-10): $25K Dealer’s Choice Championship
- Event 6 (Dec 10-12): $5K NLHE Deepstack
- Event 7 (Dec 10-12): $100K NLHE Triton Main Event
- Event 8 (Dec 11-13): $50K PLO Championship
- Event 9 (Dec 12-14): $25K NLHE WSOP Super Main Event ($50M GTD)
- Event 10 (Dec 14): $10K Paradise PLO
- Event 11 (Dec 15-16): $2,500 NLHE Mystery Millions Online ($5M GTD)
- Event 12 (Dec 16-20): $10K GGMillion$ NLHE Championship (4 flights, $5M GTD)
- Event 13 (Dec 17): $50K NLHE High Roller
- Event 14 (Dec 18-19): $5K NLHE Bounty Turbo Closer
- Event 15 (Dec 19): $10K Super Saver Invitational ($1M GTD)
The last event is an invitational freeroll for all bracelet holders who play in the Super Main Event, GGPoker prize package winners, and those who purchase the $100K Early Bird resort package. It is unclear as to why there is a $10K buy-in shown on the WSOP schedule page.
Also, the dates and event numbers for the last two events are listed differently on the flyer-type schedule and the WSOP web page schedule. The above listing reflects the WSOP schedule info.
A note attached to the events with guaranteed prize pools informs that the payouts will happen after deducting “the percentage for costs from the prize pool.”
WSOP+ App
The World Series of Poker recently released its official app to the public. It’s called WSOP+, a comprehensive guide to WSOP events created by new WSOP owner NSUS.
Currently, it shows the entire WSOP Paradise schedule and will update registration and prize pool information as the events take place. It can also serve as a tournament clock. It introduces the GGPass, an account for all GGNetwork products, including online poker accounts, as a platform through which to eventually use online funds to buy in to live events. Other payment methods include LuxonPay and crypto. This is all similar to the PokerStars Live app that launched in August 2022 for all live PokerStars-hosted and sponsored tournament series.
Interestingly, the WSOP+ app has no listing for the WSOP Europe or for any WSOP Circuit events.
