World Poker Announces Season XVIII Schedule
The World Poker Tour has been wrapping up its 17th season in style in Las Vegas over the past week.
Three of its main tour events held final tables in just two days last week, with the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown and WPT Choctaw finals at the HyperX Esports Arena at the Luxor and the WPT Aria Summer Championship in Aria’s poker room. Then, the WPT Tournament of Champions began on Saturday and will host its final table at the HyperX Esports Arena tonight.
That will officially close Season XVII.
And with that, the WPT announced its first iteration of the Season XVIII Main Tour schedule. There will very likely be more tournaments added, including WPT500 events, but the action is currently set up with 13 US-based tournaments and four international ones in partnership with PartyPoker LIVE.
As summed up by World Poker Tour CEO Adam Pliska, “The WPT is proud to present our players and fans exciting events to look forward to in Season XVIII, including the return to HyperX Esports Arena for TV final tables.”
WPT VP of Global Tour Management Angelica Hael added, “We are excited for another great schedule of events in Season XVIII, along with our return to HyperX Esports Arena. We once again thank our players for supporting the major changes in Season XVII and look forward to continuing to provide the best playing experience.”

Season XVIII Schedule So Far
The initial stop of the next main tour’s upcoming season was announced several weeks ago as a part of the WPT Gardens Poker Festival. And per the press release this weekend, the following appear to be fill out the Season XVIII schedule thus far:
