Series Ready for Poker Sites on PartyPoker US Network
The sites on the partypoker US network of online poker sites in the American market are ready for May tournament series.
Interestingly, a look at the websites for BetMGM, one of the brands carrying the series, shows the series in the “tournaments” section for New Jersey and Michigan. Those series both run May 16-23. The Pennsylvania site does not show any series, but there is one that will run May 23-30.
To confuse matters further, the series will run in all three states on the sites operating on the partypoker platform. This includes BetMGM but also Borgata Poker and the actual partypoker site in New Jersey. The skins all run on the partypoker US network. And while the skins in the three states operate on the same platform and share players, this cannot happen across state lines. Since there is still no interstate online poker agreement that includes Pennsylvania and Michigan, partypoker has no interstate connections.
It really is as confusing as it sounds, especially for players who don’t follow the ins and outs of the new state markets. Hopefully, the partypoker US network launches an explainer website of some kind. In the meantime, let’s just look at the upcoming series in the three states that offer them.
