RunGood Poker Series Reveals Next Two Schedules
It was already official that the RunGood Poker Series was returning to the live poker tournament scene in June 2021. With the worst of the pandemic (knocking on wood) in the past, the folks at RunGood are ready to work with their casino partners to bring back their mid-majors tournaments around the United States.
Tana Karn and the rest of the RunGood family kept busy during the lockdowns but started hinting at a return several months ago. By the beginning of April, they named Jamul Casino in San Diego as the stage for the Comeback Tour. Soon after, they added the Horseshoe Council Bluffs to the schedule, to be followed by the Horseshoe Tunica.
And now, the schedules for the first two of those stops are available. The comeback is on track and will begin in one month.
Jamul Casino: June 8-13
The first stop for RunGood in 2021 will be a celebration along with the tournaments. Opening night will include a tournament with special bounties – cash and RunGood Apparel Store credits – to welcome players back to the series. Special guests holding those bounties have yet to be named.
The schedule is as follows:
-June 8 at 7pm: $135 buy-in NLHE Opening Night Guest Bounty Ring Event
-June 9 at 12pm & 7pm: $185 NLHE Deepstack Ring Event starting flights ($20K GTD)
-June 10 at 12pm: Day 2 of Deepstack
-June 10 at 7pm: $200 NLHE Two Green Chip Bounty Ring Event
-June 11 at 3pm: $300 PLO Ring Event
-June 11 at 7pm: $575 NLHE RunGood Main Event starting flight A ($100K GTD)
-June 12 at 12pm & 7pm: Flights B & C of Main Event
-June 13 at 10am: $125 NLHE Seniors Ring Event
-June 13 at 12pm: Day 2 of Main Event
-June 13 at 4pm: $240 NLHE Black Chip Bounty Closer Ring Event
Via RunGood’s partnership with PokerGO, two players will win seats to the All-Stars ProAM invitational tournament to be filmed at the Las Vegas PokerGO Studio in December.

The recently-released schedule is as follows:

Tunica and Beyond
The next stop after Council Bluffs will be at the Horseshoe Casino in Tunica July 6-11. The schedule is still in the process of being finalized.
In addition, RunGood has something planned for 2022. It’s actually something that needs quite a bit of preparation because it’s on a cruise ship. RunGood and Card Player Cruises had planned to organize the RunGood cruise on the 8-night Southern Caribbean Cruise currently scheduled for October 29 to November 6 of this year.
However, a subsequent email from Card Player Cruises indicated that the RunGood Southern Caribbean cruise is now postponed until October 2022. The reason is that they must reserve extra space on the ship for such a tournament, and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) have yet to release guidelines about hosting such group events on cruise lines.
Postponing it until next year will ensure the RunGood tournament and cruise will go smoothly, well past (knocking on wood again) the pandemic by that time.
