PokerStars Adds to EPT 2022 and Sets 2023 PSPC
This is the year that PokerStars returns to the world stage, complete with all of its diverse tournament offerings and opportunities. Two years of pandemic cancellations and postponements were in the past.
In February, PokerStars confirmed that EPT Prague would run in March and announced the return of EPT Monte Carlo in late April and early May. It also announced the return of the France Poker Series (FPS), Estrellas Poker Tour (ESPT), UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT), Eureka Poker Tour, Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT), and Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP).
Live poker was returning if PokerStars had anything to say about it. And it did.
Players did show up in very solid numbers for the European Poker Tour in Prague.
That winning moment. 🥳

Now, there are more tournaments on the schedules.
Adding EPT Barcelona
One of the newest announcements from PokerStars is more of the European Poker Tour. The EPT Monte Carlo (also known as the PokerStars European Poker Tour presented by Monte-Carlo Casino ®) is set for April 28 through May 7 in coordination with the France Poker Series.
Two more tournaments are now on the schedule.
-EPT and ESPT Barcelona: August 8-21 at Casino Barcelona
-EPT and Eureka Poker Tour Prague: December 7-18 at King’s Casino Prague
Adding to UKIPT and ESPT
The original announcement about the return of the UK and Ireland Poker Tour set the UKIPT London at the Hippodrome at the beginning of April.

Bringing Back the PSPC
The very first PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship (PSPC) took place in January 2019 in the Bahamas. It was a part of the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure. That first PSPC was such a hit that PokerStars set another one. It was going to be a part of the 2020 EPT Barcelona in August of that year. It would be a €25K buy-in event, with hundreds of players set to win their Platinum Pass prize packages to the tournament through a variety of opportunities.
Needless to say, the second PSPC did not happen.
Well, it’s back. It won’t be in Barcelona, though. It will return to the Bahamas as a part of the returning PokerStars Caribbean Adventure in 2023.
The PCA will look different than in its many past years. It will be at the Baha Mar property instead of Atlantis. And it will be at the end of January instead of the beginning. Players will adjust. And some may even appreciate the change of venue.
-2023 PCA Festival: January 22 – February 3 at Baha Mar Resort
–PCA Main Event: January 24-29 with $10K buy-in
–PSPC Main Event: January 30 – February 3 with $25K buy-in
The Platinum Pass will be worth $30K, including the tournament buy-in, six nights for two people in a five-star hotel, airport transportation, and $1,900 for expenses. There will also be special events and experiences planned for Platinum Pass winners.
“We have missed our live events as much as our players,” said PokerStars Managing Director Severin Rasset. As for the PCA, he added, “Beautiful location, hundreds of qualifiers, with millions to win. If there is one tournament to choose for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, it will be the PSPC. We will provide more details soon on how to get your hands on a Platinum Pass.”
While most poker players don’t plan their tournament trips eight or nine months in advance, the PSPC is different. It is never too early to win a $30K-valued Platinum Pass to travel to the Bahamas.
There was $9m in added money, and the biggest ever field for a $25K buy-in tournament. But still, what's so special about the #PSPC? https://t.co/UMX1L2MGAE
