PokerGO to Launch New Show and Stairway Series
Now that the WSOP is over in the United States, what is PokerGO to do with its time and energy?
The first thing is to refocus on its PokerGO Tour (PGT). It never stopped for the World Series, but it is ready to kick back into a higher gear. One of the ways to do that is to host another Stairway to Millions in Las Vegas. Another way is to take a very popular podcast and turn it into a cash game show. No Gamble No Future will make its debut on August 1.
Let’s get into the most recent news out of PokerGO.
Boston Rob Partnership
Poker entities who never before had ambassadors – or at least not any associates with the official ambassador title – have recently started naming poker players as brand ambassadors. The World Poker Tour is the most notable brand doing so, having signed Steve Aoki, Doyle Brunson, Brad Owen, and Andrew Neeme as ambassadors just this year.
PokerGO is getting in on the action as well.
Well, it turns out that PokerGO already considers some of its key players and supporters/investors – Phil Hellmuth Daniel Negreanu, and Maria Ho – as its ambassadors. Now, Rob Mariano joins them.
Some people will recognize Mariano as “Boston Rob” of Survivor television reality show fame. He won that and competed on The Amazing Race as well. He now participates in another reality show on CBS called Secret Celebrity Renovation. He is also an avid poker player and has been for many years.
So excited! Check it out my @survivorcbs people!!!🔥🔥🔥 https://t.co/2pmI7UDu4e

His new role will be to represent PokerGO when playing live poker. He will also partner with the company to participate in PokerGO’s Genesis NFT Collection. Further, he will host a special weekly poker game on the PokerGO Hold’em app, which offers free-play online poker. And he will participate in a new televised PokerGO show. That show, No Gamble, No Future, is the next announcement.
I’m so excited to join the @PokerGO team along with legends @RealKidPoker @phil_hellmuth @MariaHo @WSOP @PokerNews This has been a dream of mine for a long time! https://t.co/dl5UyDya0A

No Gamble, No Future
Speaking of the new show, PokerGO announced in mid-July that the No Gamble, No Future podcast is now a television show on PokerGO. It will feature high-takes cash games and an occasional SNG.
The debut episode will air online on August 1 featuring a cash game with a $100K minimum buy-in and $200/$400 blinds. The exact lineup for the first show is unclear, but the first season will feature Mariano, Nick Schulman Patrik Antonius, Lynne Ji, and Matt Berkey.
Podcast hosts Brent Hanks and Jeff Platt will serve as the commentators for the show. Hanks, who is also the Director of Programming for PokerGO, noted that the brand that started with the podcast took on a life of its own. “In many ways, it’s become a lifestyle,” he said. “Now, we’ll get to see it all play out on the biggest stage in poker. We understand the poker viewing audience wants to see entertaining poker content, and we look forward to delivering just that with No Gamble, No Future. The lineups will be fun, the stakes will be big, and the action will be electric.”

PokerGO Tour Travels
After having spent the past couple of months in Las Vegas, the high-stakes poker players can get back on the road in August and September. The first opportunities for high-stakes tournaments on the PokerGO Tour will be in Florida, first at the Seminole Hard Rock Poker Showdown in Hollywood, Florida, and then a few tournaments will run at the Seminole Hard Rock Tampa as a part of the World Poker Tour main tour stop and festival.
For those wanting to get away from the United States altogether, Triton is holding its Triton Mediterranean Poker Party at the Merit Royal Diamond on North Cyprus. There will be a number of tournaments running there for several weeks in September.

Stairway to Millions II
The first-ever Stairway to Millions tournament series took place in January 2022. It was a part of the first month of Season 2 of the PokerGO Tour, and it did well. The PokerGO Studio hosted the eight-event series, which started with just a $1K buy-in and worked up to a $100K buy-in for the finale.
Nick Petrangelo won that first iteration of the series.
The next one is on tap with Venetian Las Vegas as the host property. This time, the series will consist of 12 events and guarantee a total of $2.15M in prize money. And it will start at just $460 for the first one and end in a $52K buy-in finale.
All players who cash in one tournament will win a seat into the next one, which is one buy-in step up. The top three finishers in each tournament can skip the next one and move up two buy-ins.
Each day begins at noon local (Las Vegas) time. All events are scheduled to play out over two days. Registration will be open for the first six levels of each event. Tables will play eight-handed to start and reduce to seven-handed action when registration closes. However, a very large starting field may begin nine-handed until space permits eight-handed play.
