Online WSOP Tournament Registration Opens April 13
The 2023 World Series of Poker is little more than six weeks from its kickoff in Las Vegas.
Information about the WSOP has been emerging for months.

One of the biggest updates yet came this week, announcing that online registration will open on Thursday, April 13
Players, you’ve had time to plan out your schedules and figure out how much your bankroll can handle. Now, you can solidity your commitment to certain events by registering online.
Online Registration
As in previous years, players can register for any tournaments via the Bravo Poker Live app – the app itself or through a desktop web browser.
When you pull up the main page, you will need to log in.
Scroll down to Horseshoe Las Vegas, or via desktop go to BravoPokerLive.com/venues/wsop/. You will also need to add your Caesars Rewards card number to proceed. If you need that free card, head to Caesars.com/MyRewards to sign up.
Bravo Poker Live is the best way to register ahead of the WSOP and to avoid registration lines at the venue itself this summer. Those lines can be long and time-consuming, especially during peak hours. Registering before the online deadline expires for each event is preferred and used by most professional players not paying for events with cash, lammers, or tournament chips.
Payment Choices
There are several ways to pay for tournament buy-ins online:
-Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club) for $10K buy-ins or less
-ACH bank transfer for $10K buy-ins or less
-Wire transfer with funds wired to Paris Las Vegas at least 14 days prior to event start date

Every tournament will have an entry fee added on, as listed on the WSOP schedule. This is for the WSOP and Caesars to handle staff, ballroom rentals, etc. There are extra fees when registering online:
-$3 online processing fee per event
-2.95% credit card fee for US Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Diners Club
-3.95% credit card fee for US American Express
-3.5% credit card fee for international Visa, MasterCard, Discover
Wire transfers and cashier checks are fee-free from the WSOP/Caesars/Bravo side, but players’ banks and financial institutions may charge fees for these transactions.
In-Person Registration
It is always possible to register for WSOP tournaments on location. The main casino cage inside the Paris Las Vegas casino is open for registrations around the clock. However, a WSOP-specific cage will open at 9am on Tuesday, May 30. This will the Champagne Ballroom cashier cage, located at the entrance to the Paris Convention Center.
In addition to the payment options above, players have a few other options when registering in person:
-Cashier check made payable to Paris Las Vegas at least 14 days prior to event start date
-Cash
-Lammers from satellite wins
-Tournament chips from Horseshoe Las Vegas
In-person registration gives players their seat assignments and receipts immediately, with no visits required to kiosks. Those players’ identification will also be verified and in the Caesars/WSOP system, so no further verification will be required throughout the series.
Kiosk Business
There are a few extra steps for players registering online, especially after the first registration of the year.
When arriving at the Paris and Horseshoe to play at the WSOP, players who registered online must visit a WSOP FasTrac location. They must show their Caesars Rewards card, proof of identity, and credit card – both the same as used for the online registration – to receive their seat assignment and receipt.
Once a player completes this process for the first time in 2023, they can then simply visit one of the numerous kiosks located around the ballroom area to quickly receive their seat assignment and buy-in receipt.
If there are any issues, there will be Caesars/WSOP staff near all kiosks, and there will be a special room in the Paris Convention Center for those needing any assistance with registration, verification, etc.
Refund Process
Things happen. Life happens. Players change their minds. The WSOP does provide for this with a refund process. The easiest way to obtain a refund is to go to the Paris Convention Center from May 30 through mid-July, though it must be prior to the start of the event for which the player is seeking a refund. They will not receive their transaction fees as a refund, but the buy-ins are refundable.
Those out of the country or state, or those simply unable to make it to Paris or Horseshoe by the deadline to request a refund can email Tyler Pipal at Caesars (tpipal@caesars.com) to inquire about an accommodating process.
WSOP Tournament Account
There is one more way for players to fund their WSOP experience. It did catch on in 2022 with nearly 5,000 players doing it, but the WSOP hopes more people will do it this year. That is to set up a WSOP tournament account.
Players can wire funds per the above link to the WSOP via Paris Las Vegas, or they can bring cash with them to the casino. Once the WSOP cage in the Champagne Ballroom opens on May 30, players should go there to establish an account. Once open, they can use those funds to register quickly online for any tournaments throughout the series.
Granted, this process is mostly helpful to players who compete in more than a couple of events.
Online registration for the 2023 WSOP opens this Thursday, April 13. For the first time ever, players will have an option to save by booking an entire trip package, including hotel & airfare. Step-by-step registration info can be found now here: https://t.co/hVt4hNFWuP pic.twitter.com/NmbJR1HBcz
