LIPS Championship to Highlight Ladies Week in Las Vegas
Every year, there is a World Series of Poker Ladies Championship tournament on the WSOP schedule. Many other casinos put a women-only tournament in their summer poker tournament lineups as well. Now, LIPS is putting its own tournament in the mix, too.
LIPS (Ladies International Poker Series) announced a LIPS National Championship and a special bounty tournament, both at South Point Casino.
For many years, casinos would schedule their ladies’ tournaments during the same week as the WSOP Ladies Championship, providing a plethora of tournament options for women who come into Vegas for that one week in the summer. Not all casinos cooperated every year, but the pandemic really pushed everything off track.
This year, though, LIPS is taking charge. They announced the official LIPS Ladies Poker Week during the last week of June 2022. And the Women’s Poker Association (WPA) will sponsor – or “celebrate” – all final tables on this schedule.
Ladies Poker Week Schedule
It’s a schedule that gives players a lot of opportunities around Las Vegas. The first one starts on Monday, June 27, and the last one wraps on Sunday, July 3.

Note that the WSOP Ladies Warm-Up event is a part of the non-bracelet event schedule. The WSOP Ladies Championship is the official bracelet event.
Regarding the LIPS National Championship at South Point, there are two starting days. Players can play one or both. Those who are able to play both and end both of those days with chips, they win a $1K bonus.
The LIPS Double Green Chip Bounty Survivor event has a special caveat. All players who make the final table can split the prize pool and also keep the bounties they earned throughout the tournament.
Bonus Ladies Events
There are three other women-only tournaments happening in Las Vegas around the same time. The Golden Nugget and Aria both offer events, but they directly conflict with each other on June 28. The Wynn Summer Classic includes a ladies-only tournament, but it plays the week after the official “ladies week” lineup.
None of these three events made the official LIPS Ladies Poker Week schedule. They are options, though. And each of them has a guaranteed prize pool.

Thus far, there are no official meet-ups or other get-togethers planned for women in Las Vegas that week. However, many players will gather on a more impromptu basis.
