Ignition Poker Signs Landon Tice as Ambassador
This is a first for Ignition and Landon Tice. It is the first time that Ignition Casino has signed an ambassador for its poker site, and it is the first ambassadorship for Tice.
Who is Landon Tice?
Hailing from Florida, Landon Tice is only 23 years old but already a known player in the poker community. He is young but very passionate about poker. He is also well-versed in poker strategy.
It all started in college, when Tice began playing with friends and winning some online tournaments. Tice had learned poker earlier in his childhood but took the game more seriously in college when it became a viable income source. A coaching deal with a friend turned into a backing deal, and Tice began his poker career.
In his relatively short time in the poker sphere, he has garnered a lot of experience in both online and live poker, in cash games and tournaments. He plays a variety of buy-in levels, all with the goal of improving his game. In just the few years since he turned 21, he final tabled two WSOP events (one live and one online), won a 2020 Venetian DeepStack Extravaganza event for more than $201K, and cashed in events from the World Poker Tour to the PokerGO Tour. He has already earned more than $516K in live tournaments alone.
Tice streams on Twitch, teaches poker as a Solve for Why Academy instructor, and is a part of the Only Friends podcast with Matt Berkey and Melissa Schubert.
Ambassador Tice
Above the Felt Entertainment, which represents Tice, announced the deal this month. Tice will join Ignition Casino as a poker player who will stream and create content. He will also represent Ignition at some live poker tournaments across North America.
And timing this announcement just before the summer of poker in Las Vegas provides ample opportunities for Tice to wear the Ignition logo while playing in tournaments at the WSOP and beyond.
“I’m thrilled to work with Ignition Casino,” Tice said, “to amplify the awareness of their already extensive online poker offering and to help build the brand’s exposure throughout the US. I’ve played on Ignition Casino since the start of my online poker career. The company does a great job keeping the player experience top of mind while providing a safe and reliable platform for online players to chase their poker dream.”
Not only is he a poker prodigy and a rising star in the poker industry, but he is now officially partnered with Ignition Casino! Welcome to the team @LandonTice! 🔥♠️🙌 #ignitioncasino #ignitionpoker #teamignition #ignitionpartner pic.twitter.com/2DszLzuTPD

As for the Monthly Milly, this happens once each month. This month, it will play on Sunday, May 22.
The $535 buy-in may sound steep for most players, but there are qualifiers running all month – actually all year – with even more added to the satellite schedule in the two weeks leading up to each one. The best part of the Monthly Milly is the $1M prize pool guarantee.
