Festival of Felt Readies Holiday Series on Ignition Poker
There’s been quite a lot happening over at Ignition Poker this year, even more than usual during this holiday season. And everything in December – even into the first week of January – is a part of the Ignition Festival of Felt.
In all, the festival guarantees $3M in special tournament and series. Each of them has a special guarantee, and buy-ins range wide so that many players can participate.
Not even two weeks in December, the events are well underway, and there is much more on tap as the action runs through January 8, 2023.
Entire Festival of Felt
This campaign to celebrate the holiday season actually began in November with the 12 Days of Turbos. That consisted of 61 tournaments, all playing with turbo structures. That is actually wrapping up on Sunday, December 11 with two events:
-$325 buy-in Special 12 Days of Turbos NLHE High Roller ($112K GTD)
-$109 buy-in 12 Days NLHE Main Event ($75K GTD)
-$270 buy-in 12 Days NLHE Main Event ($121,212 GTD)
-27.50 buy-in 12 Days NLHE Micro Main Event ($12K GTD)
Back at the beginning of December, Ignition Poker hosted a Cyber Mad Monday series. On what shoppers deem Cyber Monday, Ignition offered 18 tournaments on December 2 with $340K in total guarantees.
Holiday Series
As the turbo tournament festival wraps on December 11, it will be the perfect opportunity to start the Holiday Series. This will be the final part of the Festival of Felt. The series will guarantee $1M in total across the series that will run through January 8.
The full schedule is not yet available in the tournament lobby, as it doesn’t officially start until December 28, but satellites and qualifiers are already available for as little as $2. This Holiday Series will culminate in a Main Event on January 8 with a $150K guarantee.
World Cup of Poker Continues
Ignition Poker also launched into the World Cup of Poker on November 17 to correspond to the FIFA World Cup happening in Qatar. The full series has $2M worth of guarantees and runs all the way through December 18.
The final weekend will wrap the series with finales on Sunday, December 18. Those two events will be:
-$109 buy-in World Cup Final Mini NLHE Wrap-Up ($122K GTD)
-$1,055 buy-in World Cup Final NLHE Wrap-Up ($222K GTD)
