Ignition and Bovada Launch Super Millions Poker Open
It began last week. It is the biggest online poker series ever on Bovada Poker and Ignition Poker. The two sites operate on the same poker platform, which means they combine their player pools, and that comes in very handy for hosting a massive tournament series.
It is the perfect combination and time of year to host the Super Millions Poker Open.
Ignition and Bovada players have plenty of time to get in on the action, as the series runs through August 18. The series has something for players of every bankroll level. And altogether, the series is guaranteeing it will pay out at least $8M.
Super Millions Details
The 2021 Super Millions Poker Open (SMPO) is the largest to date, this year offering 150 tournaments and $8M in prize pool guarantees. It runs from July 12 through August 18.
The buy-ins start as low as $5.50, though satellites allow for players to win bargain seats. The highest buy-in will be $1,055, giving something to the higher-stakes players. Even that, though, will run satellites.
Each weeknight, there is a special SMPO edition of the regular tournament, making it a Nightly $30,000 GTD for a $50+$5 buy-in. On Sundays, the Super Millions boosts the tournament offerings with two big events each week. Those are:
-$150+$12 buy-in SMPO Special $250,000 GTD
-$300+$25 buy-in SMPO Special $100,000 GTD High Roller
There will be four versions of the Main Event on Sunday, August 15. Each of them will allow up to four reentries and late registration through the 16th level of play. And players begin with 15,000 in tournament chips.
-Event 133: $75+$7 buy-in Early Bird Main Event ($12K GTD)
-Event 134: $100+$9 buy-in Mini Main Event ($150K GTD)
-Event 135: $425+$25 buy-in Main Event ($350K GTD)
-Event 136: $20+$2 buy-in Micro Main Event ($20K GTD)
