GGPoker Sets WSOP Spring Circuit Online
The partnership between the World Series of Poker and GGPoker keeps getting stronger. They have partnered again for an online WSOP Circuit series. It was a bit of a last-minute announcement, as press releases just went out this week…and neither GGPoker nor the WSOP have even posted on social media about it yet.
Even so, it is happening and starting March 24.
There will be an entire series built around the WSOP Circuit, but the WSOPC itself just offers 18 ring-awarding events. The larger series guarantees $100M in prize pools.
WSOPC Spring Online Circuit
There’s no time to lose. The WSOP Spring Online Circuit series begins on March 24. IT will run through April 17. The series will offer 18 official World Series of Poker Circuit events, each awarding a WSOP gold ring. Along with the rest of the series, the guarantees total $100M.
A highlight of the series will be a charity-focused event. It will run as a WSOP Circuit event and award a ring to the winner, but it will also raise money for the Ukrainian Red Cross. It is Event 16 on the calendar, and the $111 fee on the $1K buy-in event will go directly to the Red Cross helping people in Ukraine.
(For those who want to donate separately, donate more, or donate in lieu of playing this event, GGPoker provides a direct link to the Red Cross’ Ukraine Emergency Appeal portal.
It is important to note that every winner of a WSOP ring in this series will win several other prizes:
–Entry to the $1,500 Millionaire Maker at the official WSOP 2022 in Las Vegas this summer.
–Seat in the $1M Tournament of Champions freeroll in Las Vegas
–Access to GGPoker Platinum Lounge at Paris during 2022 WSOP
–Caesars Rewards Diamond status
–Membership in GGPoker Team Champions (for Main Event winner only)
–Special badge reward on GGPoker
(Note: The press release states that only the Main Event winner will win a spot on GGPoker Team Champions, but the web page for the series does not specify that it is only that one tournament winner.)

First of Four Seasons
It appears that the WSOP and GGPoker have agreed to four of these Online Circuit events throughout the year. The GGPoker website says that this is the first of four seasonal series of 2022.
There are no dates for the other three seasonal WSOPC series yet, obviously, but it would be safe to assume that the Summer Circuit would be not long after the WSOP in Las Vegas wraps. The fall and winter options would then squeeze into the last few months of the year.
