GGPoker Pro Team Grows with Koon and Malinowski
GGPoker continues to grow its team of ambassadors in a range of categories. Its primary lineup of representatives has been the same for some time, per the website: Daniel Negreanu, Fedor Holz, Bertrand “Elky” Grospellier, and – yes, still – Dan Bilzerian.
The latest addition is Jason Koon. GGPoker announced it at the WSOP in Las Vegas on October 3 with Negreanu there to welcome Koon to the team.
Koon as Ambassador and More
Koon has long been a respected member of the poker community, having focused primarily on high-stakes games in the past several years. His live poker tournament scores have been stacking up since 2008, and they now exceed $32.5M. Along the way, he has picked up titles, of course, most of them in high roller tournaments.
In recent months, he added a PokerGO Cup title to his long list of accomplishments. And just in the 2021 WSOP that started days ago, he already finished in ninth place in the $25K buy-in No Limit Hold’em 8-Handed High Roller.
He now sits in 10th place on the all-time live tournament money list, seventh in the United States.
Put all of that together with a brand-new baby and a stringent health and fitness regime, and Koon is a busy man. Now, he takes on the new role with GGPoker, not just to represent the site but also to find cheating and detect the use of third-party software. His goal is to protect players at all levels on the poker site, including high-stakes players.

GGPoker Director of Sponsorships and Live Events John Scanlon noted, “At GGPoker, we view ambassadors as part of our overall team. … Jason’s reputation and how he handles himself personally and professionally makes him an ideal global ambassador. Having a player of his caliber providing advice and direction, and representing the most committed segment of our player community, is invaluable for us.”
The press release noted that Koon will also act as an advocate for high-stakes, VIP, and high-volume players on GGPoker. “GGPoker views this as essential in ensuring that VIP needs are given due consideration at all times by management.”
Limitless Launches Team Poland
Within the last month, Wiktor “Limitless” Malinowski also signed with GGPoker. He is the first player on the new Team Poland. The signing came on the heels of his most recent victory, which took place in Cyprus as he won the Super High Roller Bowl Europe. That buy-in was $250K, and he won the 32-player tournament for $3.69M.
Malinowski is no stranger to high-stakes poker, as he has been competing at the highest limits online for many years. There isn’t a high-stakes player in the world who hasn’t competed against – or wanted to compete against – Limitless.
