BetOnline Micro Stakes Summer Festival Starts June 25

Tens of thousands of poker players are in Las Vegas for the World Series of Poker. Millions more poker players around the world cannot make that trip, whether due to finances, family, or employment obligations. However, they shouldn’t be left out of the poker space.

BetOnline decided to offer a series for all of them. It doesn’t require a big bankroll or any travel.

The Micro Stakes Summer Festival is offering this series of 35 tournaments online with buy-ins as low as $1.10. And the finale alone will guarantee $250K.

Micro Stakes Summer Festival

For the aforementioned players and all of those who want a break from the summer heat, the Micro Stakes Summer Festival on BetOnline offers a fun schedule of tournaments.

Buy-ins start at zero, as a freeroll kicks off the series on June 25. Buy-ins then range from $1.10 to $22 for the 35 tournaments. The series then culminates in two versions of the Main Event on July 2.

The series begins as follows:

-Sunday 6/25 at 1pm – Event 1: Freebuy (50 MTT packages worth $20 each GTD)

-Monday 6/26 at 2:30pm – Event 2: $5.50 NLHE ($1,500 GTD)

-Monday 6/26 at 4:30pm – Event 3: $1.10 NLHE ($300 GTD)

-Monday 6/26 at 6:30pm – Event 4: $11 NLHE ($8K GTD)

-Monday 6/26 at 8:30pm – Event 5: $5.50 NLHE ($500 GTD)

-Monday 6/26 at 10:30pm – Event 6: $5.50 NLHE ($1K GTD)

The times remain the same through Saturday, July 1, all Eastern Time. The buy-ins and guarantees vary but are listed on the BetOnline series page.

On the final day – Sunday, July 2 – the schedule changes to:

-Main Event (Event 32) at 1pm: $22 buy-in NLHE ($50K GTD)

-Special Event at 1:30pm:  $109 buy-in NLHE ($250K GTD)

-Event 33 at 3:30pm: $1.10 NLHE ($1K GTD)

-Event 34 at 5:30pm: $11 NLHE ($10K GTD)

-Event 35 at 8:30pm: $5.50 NLHE ($5K GTD)

BetOnline notes that the series will offer different NLHE variations, such as progressive knockouts, rebuys and add-ons, etc. These are not yet listed but will be known before the series begins.

Micro Series Leaderboard

Another way for players to win during this series is to participate in the leaderboard competition. Players will earn points by simply playing, with points awarded for buying in and cashing.

At the end of the series, the top 50 players on the leaderboard will play the special event listed above ($109 buy-in with a $250K guarantee) for free.
