BetOnline Brings the Zombie Hunter Bounty Series
Boo!
It’s the season of Halloween, of scary things and creepy costumes and…well…zombies. BetOnline found a way to work that into its latest tournament series. They’ve combined Halloween and zombies with bounty tournaments and guaranteed prize pools.
It’s so good, it’s spooky.
Attention: Zombie Hunters
The upcoming series on BetOnline (and Sportsbetting.ag poker room online) is called the Zombie Hunter Bounty Poker Series. The series offers 104 tournaments from October 23 through October 30.
Altogether, the guarantees top $1M.
That is fairly significant, considering the buy-ins for the series start as low as $1.10. The vast majority of the events require buy-ins of $11 to $109, on average.
Needless to say, every tournament is a bounty tournament of the progressive knockout variety. The listing of events on the website shows the amount of the bounty in each tournament.
Zombie Hunter Highlights
The highlight of any tournament series is its Main Event. This series arranged for all of its Main Event action to play out on October 30, and there will be six of them.
-Event 97: $109 buy-in NLHE PKO Main Event ($250K GTD)
-Event 98: $22 buy-in NLHE PKO Mini Main Event ($50K GTD)
-Event 99: $215 buy-in Omaha Hi-Lo PKO Main Event ($10K GTD)
-Event 100: $215 buy-in NLHE PKO High Roller ($75K GTD)
-Event 101: $5.50 buy-in NLHE PKO Micro Main Event ($10K GTD)
-Event 102: $109 buy-in NLHE 6-Max PKO Main Event ($50K GTD)
There are also Zombie Hunter Shootouts. These start on October 24 for anyone who collected a bounty in an event on the previous day. Those players will automatically qualify to play the next day’s All-In Shootout with a $1K prize pool. The number of knockouts determines the players’ all-in chips:
1-5 knockouts = 1 chip
6-10 knockouts = 3 chips
11-20 knockouts = 5 chips
21+ knockouts = 10 chips
One more important feature of this PKO series is the Come-Back-From-the-Dead bubble prize. A player who busts on the bubble in a tournament will receive their buy-in back.

Latest BetOnline Upgrades
Playing this tournament series will be a good way to see some of the improvements that BetOnline has made to its software.
BetOnline developers introduced a new table theme with better drawings and animation. They moved the bonus section to the Main Menu on the mobile platform and made it easier to change sessions options on mobile devices.
In tournaments, players can now see a summary of the tournament information while at the table. Desktop players will see a hover mouse over the top of the screen, and mobile players can use the “more” button at the bottom left.
The transparency from BetOnline about its upgrades and software changes is one more way that BetOnline shows that it listens to its players and implements changes regularly.
This new @betonline_ag poker UI took some getting used to but it's pretty tight. I like it a lot actually. Hats off to the front end design team.
