BetOnline Launches 25 Days of Poker Freerolls
BetOnline’s poker site is ready for the holidays. In fact, BetOnline.ag and sister site Sportsbetting.ag – which share a player pool – launched their holiday promotion this week.
The 25 Days of Poker festivities run through most of December with $50K in prizes. Through leaderboards and missions and free tournaments with real-money prize pools, BetOnline and Sportsbetting.ag want to distribute money through the holiday season. All it takes for players to participate is to join the free leaderboard-based competition.
Daily Poker Freerolls ($25K)
This is the easiest way to participate is to opt in to the daily leaderboards. They are located in the “My Missions” section, located at the bottom-left in the lobby or by clicking the “Contests” button in a mobile lobby.
Every player can then participate in challenges to earn points. The “challenges” are simply to play in poker games.
By playing No Limit Hold’em or Pot Limit Omaha cash games, players collect points based on a high hand points system. For example, a player with pocket kings earns one point. Pocket aces earns two points. Two pair earns three points, and three of a kind earns four points. This system increases up to 15 points for quads, 30 points for a straight flush, and 60 points for a royal flush. Hands must go to showdown to earn points. The top 100 points earners each day win freeroll seats.
Real-money Double-or-Nothing SNG games earn one point just for playing and two points for finishing in a top paying position. The top 50 points earners each day win freeroll seats.
Play progressive knockout (PKO) tournaments to collect points, one for every knockout. The top 50 points earners each day win freeroll seats.
Qualifiers will win seats to the nightly $1K freeroll at 8pm ET. This happens every day December 1-25.
Main Event Freerolls ($25K)
Players who compete in any of the daily leaderboard challenges will automatically qualify to play in one of the three Main Event Freerolls. Points will accumulate throughout the December 1-25 promotion. At the end, BetOnline and Sportsbetting.ag will notify players of their Main Event seats.
-Top 100 NLHE or PLO, top 50 SNG or PKO = $15K Main Event Freeroll seat
-Places 101-200 NLHE or PLO, places 51-100 SNG or PKO = $8K Main Event Freeroll seat
-Places beyond 200 NLHE or PLO, places beyond 101 SNG or PKO = $2K Main Event Freeroll seat
The Main Events will take place on December 28.
