ACR Venom Kicks Off $10M GTD Venom
It starts this week. The much-anticipated Venom tournament is finally here, complete with its massive $10M prize pool guarantee. The five starting flights run through February 5, so there is plenty of time to buy in or satellite in.
Nonetheless, the Venom Fever satellites are running at a fever pitch, with more opportunities on tap leading up to February 5 than one player could possibly cover. There are steps and satellites at buy-in levels for everyone, so now is the time to win that seat and get into the famous Venom tournament on Americas Cardroom.
Venom Schedule
The Venom is the flagship tournament of Americas Cardroom. It had become famous for its massive guarantees and livestreamed final tables. It is also known for its plethora of satellite opportunities.
First, the basics of the Venom:
-Buy-in: $2,500 + $150 = $2,650
-Prize pool guarantee: $10M
-Starting stack: 300,000 chips
-Levels 1-28: 20-minute levels starting with 800/1,600 and a 240 ante
-Level 29-finish: 30-minute levels starting with 11K/22K and a 3,300 ante
-Breaks: 5 minutes at end of each hour
-Late registration: through Level 18
-Unlimited reentries
Next, let’s look at the days that the tournament will run:
-Thursday, January 26 at 1:05pm ET: Day 1A plays through Level 28
-Sunday, January 29 at 1:05pm ET: Day 1B plays through Level 28
-Thursday, February 2 at 1:05pm ET: Day 1C plays through Level 28
-Saturday, February 4 at 1:05pm ET: Day 1D plays through Level 28
-Sunday, February 5 at 1:05pm ET: Day 1E plays through Level 28
-Monday, February 6 at 1:05pm ET: Day 2 plays through Level 47
-Tuesday, February 7 at 1:05pm ET: Day 3 plays to final table of eight players
-Wednesday, February 8 at 4:05pm ET: Final table plays to a winner on livestream
Keep in mind that once a player ends a flight with chips, meaning they qualified to play Day 2, they can no longer play any further starting flights.
Catch Venom Fever
There are so many ways to satellite in to the Venom that they had to divide them into three categories: Venom Fever, Blitz, and On Demand.
The first and most popular is Venom Fever, which has been and continues to give away 948 tickets, each worth $2,650. And buy-ins start at just $0. The various paths still available are:

-Sat (Feb 4): Freeroll to $4.40 super sat to $44 mega (20 Venom seats GTD)

There will also be 3-max Blitz satellites starting at just $0.11 to work your way into the Venom satellites.
Venom “on-demand” step satellites are running around the clock. When there are enough players in each one to meet the requirement, the satellites will run. Players can get in on any level or start at $0.11 and go through all of the steps, as follows:

-$0.55 Step 2 (8 seats to Step 3 GTD)
-$2.50 Step 3 (7 seats to Step 4 GTD)
