ACR to Send Ten Players to Prime Social Texas Championship
Americas Cardroom is running some unique satellites. Of course, there are satellites around the clock right now for the last few days of the Online Super Series (OSS) Cub3d. That series is hitting its finale this weekend, and players from all bankroll sizes can win seats.
In addition, though, ACR is offering satellites for a live tournament. Ten players will win prize packages to the Prime Social Texas Poker Championship Main Event in late March. Five winners will collect their $9K prize packages this weekend – March 6 – with the other five to win on March 13. The Houston tournament is scheduled for March 24-29 with a $2M prize pool guarantee.
Takedown Tournaments
The two main satellites are the Takedown Tournament satellites on Americas Cardroom. Each is guaranteeing at least five prize packages for the top five finishers. The two events are scheduled as follows:
-Sunday, March 6 at 6pm ET: $109 buy-in NLHE Takedown (unlimited reentries, 5K chips)
-Sunday, March 13 at 6pm ET: $109 buy-in NLHE Takedown (unlimited reentries, 5K chips)

There are daily mega satellites running from now through March 13. Players can start their journey to the Takedown at several levels, starting with freerolls:
-$0 daily twice-daily freerolls (50 seats GTD to Turbo SuperSat)
-$1.40 daily turbo super satellites (15 seats GTD to Mega)
-$10 daily mega satellites (10 seats GTD to Takedown)
Prize Packages
The ten prize packages to be awarded are valued at $9K each. This is enough money for the $5,300 tournament buy-in at the Prime Social Texas Poker Championship, as well as $3,700 for airfare, hotel, and expenses.
It is important to note that prize package winners must reserve their own flights and accommodations. In addition, the packages do not hold cash value, but players can transfer or sell them to other players.
Prime Social is one of the largest poker clubs in Texas. Located in Houston, it offers cash games and tournaments. Daily No Limit Hold’em start at $1/3 and Pot Limit Omaha tournaments start at $1/2. There are also Limit Hold’em and Omaha-8 games available upon demand. Prime Social also offers daily tournaments with guarantees and special weekly and monthly events.
As a membership poker room, all players must have a membership. They can purchase a one-time fee to become a member for $10. To access the main room, however, they must pay $12 per hour. The fees are due to Texas law prohibitions to charging rake in any card games.

I’ve tasked this crew with posting every chip count/elimination for every player in every tournament. I’m confident they can do it, and if you can’t make it to the Texas Poker Championship @PrimeSocialTX, I’m also confident they’ll keep you well informed on what’s happening. https://t.co/g27BbCqikO
