ACR Finishes OSS Cub3d and Launches Encore Edition
Americas Cardroom just wrapped its August events last week. The primary attraction was, of course, the OSS Cub3d X, the tenth iteration of the full Online Super Series. It ran August 2-31 with hundreds of online poker tournaments and awarded more than $20M. As the Cub3d version of OSS does, it offered all three parts of OSS, starting with a week of MOSS (Mini Online Super Series), then two weeks of the main OSS series, and finally BOSS (Bigger Online Super Series).
Apparently, ACR and the Winning Poker Network were so happy with the results that they wanted to keep it going. For the first time, OSS Cub3d took only a few days to regroup and then launched the Encore edition on Sunday, September 5.
It’s not another month-long series but does run for more than a week and puts another 75 tournaments on the schedule. Along with that, the September 5-14 series puts $8M on the prize pools, including a Main Event next weekend with $1M on its prize pool.
This comes at the same time that Americas Cardroom players are competing in numerous satellites for seats in the next Venom. The Venom PKO will offer a $5M guarantee and host four starting flights beginning on September 17. That all gets underway in less than two weeks.

In the meantime, the OSS Cub3d Encore will keep everyone quite busy.
