ACR to Celebrate July 4 with Fireworks and $1M GTD
Poker players from many parts of the world log on to Americas Cardroom for online poker, but the largest contingent of players is from the United States. So, when US players celebrate a holiday like Independence Day, everyone celebrates.
Americas Cardroom is hosting a special tournament on Independence Day, also known as the Fourth of July because…well…it occurs on July 4. That must be why Americas Cardroom named this upcoming tournament the 4th of July Fireworks. And you’ll never guess the date of the last starting flight.

4th of July Fireworks Tournament
Players need not wait until July 4 to play, though. The starting flights began on June 27, and there are 11 of them running through July 4 (all times in ET):
-Flights 1A-1F: Daily 5pm flights Sunday, June 27 through Friday, July 2
-Flights 1G-1H: Two flights (12:30pm & 6:30pm) Saturday, July 3
-Flights 1I-1K: Three flights (10am, 3pm & 8pm) Sunday, July 4
The $215 buy-in tournament will have a $1M guarantee on the prize pool. There are unlimited reentries. All who make it through a flight will gather together at 4:05pm on Monday, July 5. The tournament will finish up that night.
Every player starts with 200K chips and plays 10-minute levels, starting with 800/1,600 and a 240 ante. Each flight allows for approximately three hours of late registration. And at the end of Level 23, those with chips move on to Day 2. Levels then increase to 12 minutes each for Day 2.
Don’t have or want to spend $215 for a single buy-in…but want a shot at that $1M prize pool? There are umpteen ways to qualify.
Mega satellites are running for every flight. Those cost $27.50 to play and guarantee 10 seats each. But for players wanting to start from scratch, they can click on any of the megas to find two-step paths. The first step is a freeroll, and winners then go on to the super satellite – or they can buy in directly for $2. Winners of the supers receive tickets to the mega satellite.
